About

The Cranbrook Collection, including Saarinen House, includes objects from the twentieth and twenty-first centuries that chronicle the art, architecture, design, and crafts associated with Cranbrook Educational Community and Cranbrook Academy of Art in particular.

The focus of The Cranbrook Collection is work that clearly reflects the history and innovations of Cranbrook and its artists, in particular work made by artists, architects, and designers associated with Cranbrook Academy of Art and Cranbrook Art Museum as (1) faculty, (2) students, (3) staff, (4) visiting guest artists or (5) exhibitors at the Art Museum.
