The Special Collections include significant objects of quality and authenticity from any era or culture, excluding works which fit the definition of The Cranbrook Collection or The Detroit Collection. The three areas of The Special Collections are: Ceramics, Works on Paper (e.g., prints, drawings, posters, and photographs), and Textiles.
