Cultural Properties Collection

The Cultural Properties Collection of Cranbrook Educational Community contains, with some exceptions, objects that were acquired or created specifically for use, aesthetic enhancement, or display within a Cranbrook environment. These objects are sited throughout the campus in both interior and exterior locations. Most objects continue in active use or are displayed within the environment for which they were acquired. The Cultural Properties Collection currently does not include works in the permanent collections of Cranbrook Archives, Cranbrook Art Museum, Cranbrook Institute of Science, the book collections of Cranbrook Academy of Art Library or any of the Cranbrook Schools libraries, or the inventory of campus furniture, fixtures, and equipment maintained by Business Services.
